$5 -- buys one month of heartworm prevention for a dog or a rabies vaccine

$10 -- buys a distemper/parvo vaccination for a dog that's good for a year

$18 -- pays our vet for an office exam on a new dog/cat

$20 -- pays for overnight boarding so an animal will be safe until a foster can be found

$20-30 -- provides a microchip that will identify that animal for the rest of its life if lost

$45-100 -- provides a spay/neuter for a dog or cat that will prevent more unwanted litters
